I remember watching the preview of Eat, Pray, Love when I went to watch Sex and the City 2 with my girls and as soon as the preview ended, we looked at each other and went "WE HAVE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!" well well.. when I found out that it was based on a book (!) I had to read it. I ordered it from Amazon for around $8
.00 I believe... &...
I can't put it down.
It's an easy read and keeps you wanting to know more. It's FUNNY and feels like I am reading a blog or a journal! It reminds me of Sex and the City SOMEHOW (may be because that's when I was introduced to it) but also because Elizabeth Gilbert's writing style is similar to Carrie Bradshaw. Gilbert isn't talking about Gucci shoes and Prada purses but her experiences are simply captivating. I love reading travel memoirs and travel channel on TV so this is a MUST!
One thing I must say I didn't like was that I sort of feels like an emotional roller coaster (I am on page 75) but it's real and easy to relate to.
Lastly, I am in love with this book and I can't wait till the movie comes out (August 13th!)
