It was a good read but very detailed.. It's about her time in Ashram which I must say moved me in terms of finding divinity but I thought it was way too detailed.
I don't want to give out too much because this book is a MUST READ!

Greg Mortenson- My hero.
I can't put my feelings into words.

Most importantly, I think he's one of the most influential people on the face of the earth. He did what he aimed to do regardless of many hardships. I am amazed that there are still people who care and do. Do something good, not for themselves, but for others.
I adore him and his work. Spread the word!

Just ask Greg Mortenson—former mountaineer, medic, nurse, co-founder of Central Asia Institute and of Pennies for Peace, humanitarian, and author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace.
Mortenson was born in Minnesota in 1957. He grew up on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania where his father co-founded a local teaching hospital and his mother founded International School Moshi. Mortenson carried on both of their professions with his work both as a nurse and then as co-founder and executive director of the Central Asia Institute.
Mortenson’s transition from nursing to building schools began in 1993 with a journey to Pakistan to climb K2, the world’s second highest mountain in the Karakoram Range. Mortenson was climbing in honor of his sister, Christa, who died in1992 of a massive seizure.
On the way back from the climb Mortenson took a wrong turn and ended up in the remote village of Korphe. The villagers had nothing but compassion for Mortenson and cared for him until he recovered from the climb. Prior to leaving, he promised the village that he would build a school for their children.
When Mortenson returned to the states, he co-founded the Central Asia Institute with Dr. Jean Hoerni. In his role as executive director of the CAI Mortenson has now built over 130 schools and brought education to over 58,000 children in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
In 2009 Mortenson received Pakistan’s highest civil award, Sitara-e-Pakistan (“Star of Pakistan”), for his dedicated and humanitarian effort to promote education and literacy in rural areas for fifteen years.

Eat Pray Love part 2
I am loving how Liz is roaming around Italy and an Ashram in India. She's so ..so.. REAL.
She's not scared to gain weight as she did when in Rome because sometimes I feel like the only thing I can control is what goes in my mouth. I love CHEESE and pizza and pasta.. yummm.
This book is a must read. Not sure if the movie is going to be different from the book--usually they are different. Oh well... I am sure I'll like it. Anything with food and travel...i'm hooked =)

Nude Lips!
i LOVE LOVE LOVE nude lips! hence I always go for nude/slightly pink lipsticks. Here's my collection of nude lipsticks I absolutely adore. Pigmentation is great and they go well with any look.
left to right: 200 Nude Shell by Maybelline, MAC's Brave, Loreal's Nude, Victoria's Secert (name unknown), ELF pouty petal, ELF's runway pink, ELF's nicely nude, VS's Scrumptious.
VS's Scrumptious is by far my favorite lip color but I don't like its consistency. If you know of any colors similar to VS Scrumptious.. recommend awayyyy.
Eat, Pray, Love- Elizabeth Gilbert
I remember watching the preview of Eat, Pray, Love when I went to watch Sex and the City 2 with my girls and as soon as the preview ended, we looked at each other and went "WE HAVE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!" well well.. when I found out that it was based on a book (!) I had to read it. I ordered it from Amazon for around $8.00 I believe... &...
I can't put it down.
It's an easy read and keeps you wanting to know more. It's FUNNY and feels like I am reading a blog or a journal! It reminds me of Sex and the City SOMEHOW (may be because that's when I was introduced to it) but also because Elizabeth Gilbert's writing style is similar to Carrie Bradshaw. Gilbert isn't talking about Gucci shoes and Prada purses but her experiences are simply captivating. I love reading travel memoirs and travel channel on TV so this is a MUST!
One thing I must say I didn't like was that I sort of feels like an emotional roller coaster (I am on page 75) but it's real and easy to relate to.
Lastly, I am in love with this book and I can't wait till the movie comes out (August 13th!)
